How does it get set up on my site?
Crack-Ajax installs and configures it as part of your project — pointing it at your content, connecting it to your chosen AI provider, and setting up qualifying questions if you’re on the Lead Capture tier. There’s no separate download or self-service install; get in touch and we’ll get it running.
How is it “trained on my content”?
Once it’s set up, it crawls your site and indexes your pages, posts, product descriptions, and (optionally) any documents you provide. When a visitor asks a question, the plugin retrieves the most relevant content from that index and uses it as context for the AI response. It refreshes the index on a schedule, so new content gets picked up automatically. Nothing you write leaves your own infrastructure without your say-so.
What’s the difference between Chat and Chat + Lead Capture?
Chat answers visitor questions using your site’s content and can suggest email or phone as next steps. Chat + Lead Capture adds structured lead collection: the assistant naturally asks what a visitor needs as part of the conversation, then captures name, email, phone, and contact preference with real validation — plus calendar booking, instant SMS/push alerts, and an optional sync to your email marketing list. If you’re mostly answering FAQs and support questions, Chat covers it. If you’re using the chat to actively convert traffic, Lead Capture is the one that does that.
Which AI providers does it support?
Whichever one you choose — ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or any provider supported through WordPress’s own Connectors system. We’re not locked into one vendor’s API, so if pricing or quality shifts between providers, switching doesn’t mean rebuilding the plugin.
What happens to the data it collects?
Indexed content, conversation history, and any captured leads live in your own WordPress database — not on a third-party platform. If the plugin is ever removed from your site, that data stays with your site; nothing is held hostage on our end.
